Introductory Science Plan
The Introductory Science course is a video learning series for an in-depth education on the Foundation of Coat Science, the needs of the Short, Medium and Long Coats, Skin issues and much more! This course is taught by Dr Faver, DVM using his extensive veterinary knowledge as well as his long-time work with groomers. Once you have finished each video, you will take a small quiz to help you retain what you’ve learned. These videos are beneficial for EVERYONE even if you are not interested in completing the full CPAe program.
Advanced Case Study Mentorship Plan
The Advanced Case Study Mentorship course includes one-on-one virtual training and support from one of our team members to assist you with your own case studies. These case studies will include 1 maintenance bath case studies for each coat type and 2 restoration case studies where we will help you through the full process of asking the right questions, choosing the best restoration plan for that individual, reviewing medical records and making adjustments throughout the process as needed. This course will help you start to build your portfolio and document your progress as you apply the science you’ve learned to real life scenarios. (Pre-requisite – Introductory Science Course)
Advanced Science Workshop Plan
(excludes travel and lodging)
The Advanced Science Workshop includes on-site training with Dr Faver, DVM. It is 3 days of educational seminars, hands-on learning with an experienced CPAe and team building with likeminded individuals. On the last day, complete a final exam showing everything you have learned so far. While this course is mostly in-person, you will also receive access to new videos and informational sheets for use in your salon. (Pre-requisite – Introductory Science Course)
